We didn't take too many photos as we tasted our way across the USA but there are certainly a few standouts:
Random BBQ joint in Middle-of-Nowhere, TX run but a sweet couple. The man used to guide mule tours in Yosemite, he was wearing a big 'ol cowboy hat. Of course.
OMG. Awesome fried chicken. And it came with waffles and coffee. And free beignets since we checked-in (yelp or facebook, can't recall). We tried to go back on the way back West but they were CLOSED that day! :(
Gumbo in Nawlins. Incredible.
Gospel Brunch with my friend Katie in Austin. Incredible music and I enjoyed the sweet potato pancakes. But the music (and company!!) really stood out.
This place in Albuquerque. The passion fruit salsa is one of the best things I've ever tried. We bought some to-go and tried to make it last as long as we could.
