It's felt like an eternity has passed, but at last we have our new home. Jacqui and I have grown quite accustomed to the tables of life turning dramatically day by day, and once again we haven't been disappointed by the fresh twist. After falling in love with the orange little lady that needed more work than we could handle at this time, the owner decided to put her in the shop and have all the repairs done while still charging us the same sale price.
So while we waited for the little lady to finish receiving her mechanical makeover, we've been staying with Jacqui's cousin and family. This has brought on many trips to playground with the little one, a whole house full of cuddle-hungry pooches, days spent lounging on the beach in the hot sun and all together overeating at every turn. We have been a little less than responsible when it comes to frugality. Guess we'll have to make up for that soon.
One of the very mature boys was nice enough to keep an eye on Jacqui.
I'm the little one on the spin-y thing.

Jacqui must be baby-crazy taking this kind of photo. Guess I better watch out.
I trained her not to deal with paparazzi.
The excitement is just around the corner. First thing in the morning, two of our friends are driving down from San Francisco and we're making a road trip out of the trip back to Mazatlan for our stuff. Comically, despite the major home downsize we've just made, we're bringing along twice the amount of tenants for the next week. This ought to be interesting. Hope nobody has personal space issues because privacy is not on the menu.

Smokey is quite the model.
There's an upper and lower bed!
As Jacqui informed little Miss Katie we'd be leaving soon and thanked her for letting us stay at her house, Katie put her hands on Jacqui's shoulders and replied, "We will always have snacks for you here".
I'm pretty sure that means we're always welcome to come back.
Everyone approves of our Westy!
