As our December 1st departure has come and gone with our feet still firmly planted on Treasure Island, our pre-trip prep can only be described as arduous. Jacqui and I have been back in the San Francisco Bay Area for more than a month, and we've been getting an unusual viewpoint of a familiar place. Before leaving on our journey we were like any other people we pass on these streets today; working, paying bills, and trying to get ahead in this fast paced, expensive little place. Now we're back with a completely different mentality and set of goals.
